Pe&#xF1;on de Ifach is a huge rock that rises to about 332 meters of the Mediterranean. Pe&#xF1;on de Ifach was declared to be a nature reserve in the year 1987. It is a safe refuge for a hodgepodge of fauna and unusual flora. A hike to Pe&#xF1;on de Ifach&#x2019;s summit can be a memorable experience for those who want to have an energizing experience. One can reach the acme by passing through a tunnel that itself was built way back in 1919. This tunnel leads the northeastern face of the rock. Calpe is also known for the wonderful marina it has alongside the fishing port. One can take a glass-bottom-boat ride from here and can sail around the rock.  If it is history of Calpe that fascinates you then a perfect way of spending time would be taking a stroll through the Calpe&#x2019;s old town ancient streets. Calpe had once been a fortified and completely walled town, the remains of which are still there in from of the defenses and ancient walls. Calpe beaches are clean, nice and not over crowded.  It is quite easy to reach Calpe via N332 or the main highway (A-7). Calpe offers a wealth of ethnicity.
