In fact Romans were aware of its potential as the best trading centre to trade in the famous Spanish olive oil, wheat and wine. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These were transported to Rome from this city <strong>Cordoba<\/strong>. To help the trade and transport of the materials, Romans built a bridge which is now named as \u2018El Puente Romano\u2019 bridge. It was during the Christian era that magnificent churches and arches were built.
