Valencia<\/strong><\/a>, the third largest city in Spain, is known as a beach city because it has a number of busy beaches, undeveloped beaches and even nudist beaches. Several tourists visit this place every year to see the sights as well as to enjoy the world-famous Valencia cuisine.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are in Valencia<\/strong><\/a> it is advisable to get the Valencia tourist card so that you will enjoy your stay better. These cards are available for 1, 2, or 3 days and will entitle you to discounts in tourist attractions, shops and public transport within the city. Generally Valencia is a safe city, but you should be careful with your possessions as there are petty thieves and there are certain areas which are pretty dangerous after dark.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fallas

\n Fallas is a spring festival which is celebrated every year in the month of March. During this festival figures made of papier mache and rags are burned at midnight on the last day of the festival.<\/span>

The Botanical Garden is an ideal place to spend a day with your family. Children can play around and you can see thousands of species of plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

National\u00a0 Museum of Ceramic Arts<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This museum which contains Spain’s best collection of ceramics. Founded in 1947, it has over 5000 examples of traditional pottery. You can also find a 19th century room.<\/span>

Valencia is famous for its beaches. Among them are the Pla<\/span>
\n ya de Malvarosa, considered the most lively and popular beach in Valencia<\/strong><\/a>; the Playa de Patacona, which is not so crowded beach; the Playa de El saler, dubbed the jewel in the crown of the Valencia beachline; and the Playa la Devesa, which is an undeveloped beach with large number of nudists.<\/span><\/p>\n
