That is sufficient to explain how beautiful this city is. This city, like other parts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Spain<\/strong><\/a> has its own history. According to archeological evidence, the history of the city can be traced to Neolithic period. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">History also says that the city got its name \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/apollo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Marbella<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 during the Muslim rule. It was a tiny village with just about 900 inhabitants not long ago; that was in the year 1940. Now it has transformed itself into a popular tourist spot. What is so unique about this city?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/kalymnos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bonsai Park<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is the biggest Bonsai Park in the world. Many rare species of plants are on display here. Some of the trees grown in this Bonsai Park are claimed to be as old as 500 years. <!--more-->This park is located on a river where many turtles live. The entry fee for the park is just Euro 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/sifnos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arroyo de La Park<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a fairly big park measuring about 2 kilometers in length and about half kilometer in width. There is a small river by the side of the park. There are enough places for children and elders to play and do physical exercises. The Bonsai Park is situated in this park.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/orestis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-44567 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/Puerto-Banus.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"520\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/Puerto-Banus.jpg 575w, https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/Puerto-Banus-300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/lefkada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puerto Banus:<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a port which is most frequently visited by tourists. Some of the splendid yachts can be seen here. The port has many pubs, discos and bars for the entrainment of the tourists. Of course, the port has enough places for the tourists to enjoy water sports. The small roads where these pubs are located are luxuriously illuminated and it presents a most fascinating view during the night time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-del-sol\/marbella\/chalki\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Constitution Park<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In local language this park is called Parque de La Constitucion. This park was inaugurated in the year 1950. This park is ideally located in the centre of the city, just behind the port. Many species of trees and plants are grown in this park. Cypress trees, tropical shrubs, olive trees, palm trees, bougainvillea, geraniums and Jasmine are some of the popular varieties that are grown in this park. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This park is not restricted to growing trees. There is a medium sized open air auditorium where music concerts are held regularly. Similarly many dances, dramas are held. Film shows and slideshows are held for the entertainment of children. Interestingly the old town retains its past glory even to this day; balconies filled with geranium, buildings whitewashed, a typical 16th century architecture etc. The restaurants have not lagged behind in their effort to keep the 16th century tradition. They serve traditional food in their cozy accommodation. Once you are in the old town, you just slip to 16th century.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Church of incarnation: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This church called as <strong>\u2018Iglesia Mayor deSanta Maria de la Encarnacion\u2019<\/strong> in Spanish language is located in the heart of the city. The square where this church is located is beautifully laid out with gardens, fountains and with many intricate works of sculpture. Now, coming to the church, it is a masterpiece work. This flawless structure receives the highest number of visitors throughout the year.<strong> According to historians, the church was constructed in the year 1505 and some renovations were made in the years 1712 and 1756. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bonsai Park: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a famous park in Europe. Plants from most part of the world are grown here. There is a training center where people are trained in Bonsai cultivation. Admission to the Park is during specific hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safari Park: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visitors are advised not to miss this park. This is a unique safari park in the entire Europe continent. Over 100 hectares of treacherous tall mountains where animals from different part of the world have their habitat is something amazing to see.
