This beach which is almost 60 km in length stretches up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-maresme\/barcelona-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona<\/a>. Along the entire coast there are many places for the tourist to see and enjoy. Some of the very important places of interest for tourist are mentioned here:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chapel<\/a>: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This Gothic style chapel was built in 1694 for Sant Pere del Bosc which according to history was under the control of Benedictines. Later, part of the chapel was destroyed during war and it was restored in 1789. But the reconstruction was made in Baroque architecture and a hermitage was built and it was named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/lloret-de-mar\/tinoco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sant Pere Salou<\/strong><\/a>. <!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a very beautiful building which just instigates the visitor to pay a visit. The other chapel of importance is the chapel of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/sant-feliu-de-guixols\/edurne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Sants Metges<\/strong><\/a> which is located in the old village. This chapel was reconstructed recently and has great religious importance amongst the local population.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/lloret-de-mar\/pollino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-44770 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/San-Roma-Lloret-de-Mar-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"520\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/San-Roma-Lloret-de-Mar-.jpg 575w, https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/San-Roma-Lloret-de-Mar--300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/lloret-de-mar\/audrey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hermitages<\/a>:<\/strong> Here we will visit three important hermitages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When in<strong> Costa Brava<\/strong>, make it a point to visit the hermitage of Nostra de Les Alegries. It is said this hermitage was built in the year 1079. According to historians, this hermitage was built to commemorate the consecration of the renowned Sant Roma. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While one section of historians say it was built to celebrate the victory of an Army General by name Quirze, the other section of historians say it was built during the rule of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/sant-feliu-de-guixols\/study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Charlemagne<\/strong><\/a>. This is located just on the outskirts of the town and is about 10 minutes drive. It is built in Romanesque architecture. The bell tower of this hermitage is a wonderful structure to be seen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The other hermitage is that of Sant Quirze which is believed to have been built prior to 8th century. According to historians, some extensions were made to the hermitage during the 8th century which means that the actual construction was made much earlier to it. This is yet another beautiful example of Gothic architecture. This is located at a distance of about 1 km from the centre of the town.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The next hermitage we visit is that of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/villas\/spain\/costa-brava\/sant-feliu-de-guixols\/celimar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Santa Cristina<\/strong> <\/a>which is believed to have been built in 1376. It is a most beautiful building with colored marble. This beautiful costal region apart from beautiful environment also has many other places which are of interest for the tourist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Golf ground: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some of the most popular golf grounds are located in Costa Brava. Many of the international golf games are held in these grounds. The natural landscape has come as a blessing in forming these golf grounds.<strong> The vast greenery with the sea on one side and Tall Mountain on the other side is certainly a pleasant experience.<\/strong> These golf grounds are built to international standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Golden beach: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Costa Brava <\/strong>has many beaches which are located at short distances. Most of these beaches have sand which is of Golden color. There are many sheltered coves and wonderful rocky gorges. Many of these coves and gorges have centuries old history behind them. The water in these beaches is crystal clear and that is an indication to show how perfectly the beach is being maintained. In fact some of the location shooting for Hollywood films is held in the <strong>beaches of Costa Brava<\/strong>. All the beaches have water sports facilities including fishing, boating etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other places of interest: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many of the beaches also have other places of interest for the tourists. They include Churches, cathedrals, theme parks, monumental buildings etc which have historical importance. In fact many of the tourists evince keen interest in visiting these monumental buildings.
