Once a visitor, always a visitor; this is true of those who visit Spain. The reason is simple; there is so much to see and enjoy that you are tempted to visit Spain<\/strong><\/a> again and again. Every visit makes you feel there is something new to see and something more to learn. Interestingly, the visit does not cost you much; because in Spain, accommodation, food and travel are available at affordable rates.<\/p>\n

Among the places of interest, Seville, the capital of Andalusia<\/strong> <\/a>also occupies an important place. This city which has a history of about 2000 years has been influenced by various civilizations that ruled here.<\/p>\n

Let us commence our tour of the city from the famous Santa Paula Street<\/strong><\/a>. Our first visit will be Santa Isabel convent. In the convent, there is a church which is believed to have been designed in the 17th century. The image of the Merciful Christ is installed. The nuns in this church make embroidery works using golden thread. It would be a pleasure to see this work.<\/p>\n

Now we have reached the Andalusia Parliament house. Interestingly the place where the parliament is now located was a big hospital of Seville. Designed by Martin De Gainza,<\/strong><\/a> this building has now become a seat of power. The assembly hall inside the Parliament was actually a church. At the farther end of the parliament house is the famous arch called the \u2018Arch of Macarena\u2019 meaning an arch of the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Now we are on our way to Sol Street<\/strong><\/a>. Having reached the Los Terceros Square we are now inside the Los Terceros convent which is believed to have been built in the 17th century. This is really a most spectacular building built in Latin American style. The garden abutting the convent is just wonderful. It has works of sculpture from some of the greatest sculptors of the time. The convent also has a museum where visitors can buy products like sweets, books, etc.<\/p>\n

Those who have fascination for shopping, please come to Seville. There are rows and rows of shops selling painting works, arts and artifacts. There are also shops where sculpture works are exclusively sold. Shops dealing<\/strong> <\/a>only in traditional artifacts from the local Seville population are in plenty.<\/p>\n

There are many bars, cafes and restaurants which serve the local specialties. Normally those who visit Seville spend at least two to three days here and for such persons there are many villas and hotels to make their stay most comfortable.<\/p>\n
