The festival celebrates shortest night in the year that in fact coincides with summer solstice. Street fronts are decorated using branches and leaves. Men indulge in street wandering and singing love and sanjuanera songs to girls.  Fiesta de Verano  This festival is pride of Malaga that belongs to Andalusia. The festival kicks-off its yearly Fiesta de Verano by some great fireworks display. The event takes place in the month of August on the second Friday. During the festivity, participants get dressed in traditional costumes and perform dance to Seville-style flamenco and malaguenas music. This is purely a local style of flamenco.  The joy of Spanish people is beyond imagination during these festivals.
