Most of the buildings and structures in the town belong to the past and these buildings present the story of people's bloodshed, struggle and heroism. One can also visit the old gates, town walls and fortifications that had served as a fortress during the time of province's struggle.  Cathedrals  Other than the historical and scenic sections of society, the historic cathedrals and churches of the province Guadalajara are something that a lot of people enjoy visiting. Many of the cathedrals are known to have existed throughout history of this town. Some of these cathedrals have also received damages while the Civil War prevailed. Though some of them have gone under restoration but in others the original atmosphere has been kept intact so that the struggle of people of this province could be remembered.
