Bars and restaurants are lined here with a number of outdoor tables making this a wonderful stop for afternoon lunch. You must note the lamps inside the plaza. These had been designed by Antoni Gaudi when he was young.  The Barri Gotic is a great tourist destination. Evening activities are at high in Barri Gotic but it is important that you beware and keep your valuables out of your back pocket. Do not carry too much cash as the area is quite crowded and make sure that you leave your passport where you are staying so that it remains
