The monumental buildings, beautiful nature, vast sea spreading over 220 kms, high mountains, parks, museums, the list goes on. <!--more-->Every tourist enjoys his stay in Spain and the cherished memories of his visit encourage him to visit the country again and again. Every province, city and even a village has something to offer the tourist. Now, let us go round the province of Cadiz.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the South of Spain and a part of the Andalucian region, Cadiz is known for its beautiful weather and stunningly beautiful nature, beaches, monumental buildings, etc. There are luxurious villas and apartments which make the stay of the tourist comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>The tourist can be assured that every moment of his stay in Cadiz is enjoyable and he would certainly cherish the sweet memories of Cadiz. Some of the places of interest in Cadiz are briefly introduced here:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beaches: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cadiz is blessed with many beaches. As a matter of fact some of the beaches in Cadiz region have won the blue flag which indicates how beautifully the beaches are maintained. Some of the beaches have gardens or some historic buildings, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The beach Sanl\u00facar de Barrameda, for example, has a botanic garden which is believed to have been established in the 8th century. This beach is also the home for one of the most important national parks of Spain called \u2018Donana National Park\u2019. This beautiful beach is most ideal for holidaying with family and friends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Castle San Sebastian: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Historians are of the opinion that the castle was built to defend the city from enemies who would enter the city from the northern side of the city. It is believed to have been built in 1706. This beautiful building has been preserved in its original form. <strong>Certainly it is a pleasure to see this beautifully planned castle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Puerta Tierra:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is actually a city wall which is believed to have been built in the 18th century. The wall is built in two different sections which are called San Rogue y el and Santa Elena. Just visit this palace and you will certainly fall in love with it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teatro Romano<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is actually a Roman theatre. <\/strong>Interestingly it was discovered in the year 1980 during an archaeological excavation. This theatre has been excavated between a place called Old Cathedral and Arco de los Blanco. Archaeologists believe this Roman theatre was built in the 1st Century BC. Incidentally that was the era of Julius Caesar.<br \/>\nOther places of interest include San Sabastian Castle which is located near the beach and Baluarte de la fort which is believed to have been built in the year 1672 and is also located near the beach. Cathedral called Arco de los, Santa Catalina Castle are other important monuments worth visiting in Cadiz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cortes de Cadiz monument: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is one of the most important places of Cadiz which no visitor would miss.<\/strong> This monument is believed to have been designed by the famous architect of the time Modesto Lopez. It was Aniceto Mannas, the famous sculptor who gave life to the monument.<\/p>\n<p><strong>That was during the years 1912 to 1929.<\/strong> The monument is made of bronze. It has two statues, one statue represents war and the other represents peace. The constitution of Spain is written on the pillar between the two statues. The statues are beautiful and if the tourist misses this monument, he would certainly miss something which has no parallel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chamber of Commerce building: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chamber of Commerce of Cadiz is housed in a building called Plaza de Mina which is believed to have been built in 1801.
