Almost half a century ago, the mayor of Figueres asked the famous artist to give one picture to his homeland museum. However, Dali decided not to give them only a picture, he decided to give them a museum.\u00a0Thus, he bought a burnt theater, which is now the largest temple of surrealism in the world.
