Castilla-La Mancha has two very <strong>interesting points of interest: Toledo and Cuenca. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cuenca<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Cuenca can be considered as the biggest surprise of Castilla-La Mancha. It is spectacularly situated on a cliff, <\/strong>between the Huenca and Jucar rivers. Cuenca is equally far from Madrid and Valencia, and it is very famous for its houses built on very abrupt slopes. They are called Casas Colgadas and you can see them very well from the<strong> Puente de San Pablo (San Pablo\u2019s bridge). <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>One of these houses hosts the Museo de Arte Abstracto Espanol ( the Spanish Museum of Abstract Art),<\/strong> where the paintings of famous paintors such as Antoni Tapies and Antonio Saura can be admired by the tourists. On the other side of the bridge stays the Monasterio de los Paules.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few steps further you will find the <strong>Gothic and Renaissance Cathedral. <\/strong>Even though the cathedral has been built by combining two architectural types, <strong>the result is wonderful.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nPlaza Mayor is also a place where tourists enjoy\u00a0 going. It is the scene of the processions <strong>that take place in the Bright Week, so it is a place especially loved by Christians. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Albacete<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Albacete is isolated in the eastern part of the La Mancha region and it doesn\u2019t have a lot of imposing monuments.<\/strong> But it is situated at the intersection of several roads, between the center of Spain, Valencia and Andalusia. However, you will find absolutely lovely vine crops there, that offer spectacular views.<\/p>\n<p>This is a city that once belonged to the Arabs, so their influence, with their culture, tradition and their customs has remained alive in the region.
