Rio Safari Park, one of the famous tourist attractions in Alicante close to Elche, had a wonderful day reserved for us.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was going to be a wonderful day. I have not seen camel rides in abounding years and in the mean time, we could enjoy ourselves in the pond pool and water gulch. <strong>Also, there was a restaurant and a playground and all of them were accessible in front of the entrance.<\/strong> I suggest that you select clothes carefully because the climate is very hot.<\/p>\n<p>While other visitors strip off to their apparels and bikinis at the safari park, I found it awkward. A long day without sun cream would be difficult with very few shady places.\u00a0 Nowadays there is not plenty of freedom at the <strong>Elche Safari Park<\/strong> like before. Before, you could feed peanuts and carrots to animals and children were very delighted to do it. For me, it was all positive.<\/p>\n<p>The park had the best of animals you could look for. It included:<br \/>\nAntelope<br \/>\nBuffalo<br \/>\nChimps<br \/>\nCrocodiles<br \/>\nCamels<br \/>\nDeer<br \/>\nDonkeys<br \/>\nElephants<br \/>\nEmus<br \/>\nFish<br \/>\nGiraffes<br \/>\nHippo<br \/>\nJaguars<br \/>\nLions<br \/>\nLlamas<br \/>\nMonkeys<br \/>\nOstriches<br \/>\nParrots<br \/>\nReptiles<br \/>\nTigers<\/p>\n<p>Animals in the <strong>enclosure seemed to be comfortable<\/strong> and did seem to be well supervised. It is absolutely needed to wear cutting comfortable shoes as you will do plenty of walking end-to-end. All of the exhibits were gratifying in the safari park and we visited most of them. Our son who is 2 years old found the parrot most outstanding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He was laughing hard at the sight of the parrot performing stunts. It could ride a bike, roll over, <\/strong>play dead and even played basketball. Also, the elephants thoroughly amused spectators with water blowing and I caution you not to stand near the elephant unless you want to get all wet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The food was average at decent price.<\/strong> The temperature was in thirties so we enjoyed ourselves with loads of ice creams and refreshments. To tell the truth, I bet we only had a bag of fries. Then we stopped on our way back to Alicante in Santa Pola to grab a bite at McDonalds.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day we enjoyed the Safari train ride around the zoo driving in and out of the animal envelopment area.
