Where can you go to the beach with children?<\/h2>\n

With 9km of coastline, Lloret de Mar <\/strong>has several beaches and coves <\/strong>suitable for families. Of course there is also a large main beach that is very popular among tourists. In high season it is therefore very busy.<\/p>\n

For more peace and quiet, we recommend that you go to Fenals beach<\/a>. This beach is 10 minutes on foot from the centre of town and provides all the necessary services. You can also practise different water <\/strong>sports <\/strong>here. These two beaches also have the advantage of being supervised by lifeguards.<\/p>\n

A little further still, you will enjoy the idyllic setting of Santa Cristina beach<\/a>. To the south of the town, below the hermitage with the same name, this beach is sheltered from wind. The little ones will be able to play and bathe in calm and clear waters.<\/p>\n

Activities for the whole family<\/h2>\n

The activities on offer on the beaches of Lloret de Mar <\/strong>are varied. They will therefore please the whole family. In addition to the traditional crab fishing that will delight the little ones, also consider snorkelling <\/strong><\/a>for the older ones. All you need is a mask and a snorkel to be able to practise this type of surface diving. You can in this way give them the chance to discover the seabeds near the beach and observe the small fish with them.<\/p>\n

You will also find a free kids club<\/strong> on the beaches of Lloret de Mar. It is open from the 1 July until mid-September for children aged between 3 and 12 years. Thanks to the different sporting activities and workshops, they will have an unforgettable summer and make new friends! Located next to the kids club, a \u201cbeach-library\u201d offers a reading space for the whole family<\/strong> with books and magazines available in several languages. In addition, families using the club who have a teenager between the ages of 12 and 16 will receive discounts on various water <\/strong>sports<\/strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n
