There are two churches to see in Tossa de Mar<\/strong>.<\/strong> The Medieval one only <\/strong>has a few vaults remaining<\/strong>but it has a <\/strong>sublime <\/strong>view<\/strong> of the sea<\/strong>.<\/strong> The other<\/strong> one<\/strong>, which <\/strong>was built more recently<\/strong>, <\/strong>lets you experience<\/strong> the adventure<\/strong>s<\/strong> of the Indianos<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The old Sant Vicen\u00e7 church, built in the Gothic style, bears testimony to the history of Tossa de Mar<\/h2>\n

Situated in Vila Vella, the <\/strong>old town of <\/strong>Tossa<\/strong><\/a> de Mar<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>this church was built in the fifteenth century. Enjoy a stroll through Tossa de Mar\u2019s alleys <\/strong>and take a little detour. Unfortunately, today there is not much left of the original building except for the choir, the bell tower and the side chapel.<\/p>\n

The church was used as an ammunition depot during the French occupation; most of it was destroyed after the explosion of several gas canisters that were stored there. The little that remained was then used by the inhabitants of Tossa <\/strong>to build their own houses.<\/p>\n

You will particularly appreciate the charm of <\/strong>th<\/strong>e ruins that look out over the <\/strong>sea. <\/strong>If you love photography, you will find an inspiring subject here with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dedicated to Saint Vincent de Saragossa, <\/strong>it was built in a neo-classical style <\/strong>in the 1770s.<\/p>\n

Inside, make sure you view the altarpiece of the Rosary and the altar of the <\/strong>Immaculate<\/strong> Conception <\/strong>that survived the destruction caused by the Spanish Civil War.<\/p>\n
