And when you\u2019re there, you\u2019re going to want to see it all, trust us! So when you\u2019re packing for your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/travelling-to-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"trip to Spain (opens in a new tab)\">trip to Spain<\/a><\/strong>, you really want to make sure you bring a little something for any adventure you may embark on. We know it\u2019s a bit of an undertaking, so we went ahead and made this <strong>list of what you should pack for a Spanish villa<\/strong> stay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Basic Necessities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to going on vacation, there are some basic necessities you should always plan on packing. By the time you\u2019re stuffing your suitcase, and carry on, and okay, maybe a second suitcase for good measure\u2026 you should already have a basic itinerary you can keep in mind as you go. Think about <strong>the following 3 basics<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>How many days are you staying<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re staying for a long time, you definitely want to pack enough outfits to last a few days at a time, but keep in mind that your villa will either have <strong>access to a private laundry room with a washer and dryer<\/strong>, or a public one nearby. That means you can still pack light even if you\u2019ll be gone for an extended period of time. And who even like lugging bags around anyway! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.  <strong>Where do you plan on going?<\/strong>  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Looking-for-charm-and-seclusion-on-the-Costa-Brava.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Looking-for-charm-and-seclusion-on-the-Costa-Brava.jpeg 700w, https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Looking-for-charm-and-seclusion-on-the-Costa-Brava-300x200.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You booked your villa in advance so you know where you\u2019ll be for most, if not all, of your vacation. No matter where you are <strong>in Spain you will experience more sunny days than not<\/strong>, but check the temperatures to get an idea of what you will need. In general, it\u2019s a good idea to bring a windbreak, a raincoat or umbrella and a light jacket so you can be prepared for virtually anything the weather might throw at you. Other than that, summer days will definitely require shorts and short-sleeved shirts, while winter vacations will need longer pants and sweaters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>What do you plan on doing?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/344-Blanes-Mountainbiker-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30322\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/344-Blanes-Mountainbiker-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/344-Blanes-Mountainbiker-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/344-Blanes-Mountainbiker-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This question might not be as easy to answer right when you\u2019re packing, but think about where you\u2019ll be. Are you near mountains, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"beaches  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/the-best-beaches-of-the-costa-brava-enjoy\/\" target=\"_blank\">beaches <\/a><\/strong>or the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"city (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/costa-maresme\/barcelona\/barcelona-spains-best-city\/\" target=\"_blank\">city<\/a><\/strong>? A combination of the three? If you think you\u2019ll want to enjoy the photo-worthy Spanish countryside, definitely bring comfortable walking shoes, especially if you\u2019ll be near any mountains. There\u2019s <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"plenty of hiking and biking (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/10-unmissable-activities-spanish-coast\/\" target=\"_blank\">plenty of hiking and biking<\/a><\/strong>! But if you\u2019ll mainly stick to the city, then you may want comfortable shoes for <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"shopping during the day (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/barcelona-shopping-and-festivities\/\" target=\"_blank\">shopping during the day<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clubvillamar.com\/blog\/spain\/ultimate-guide-lloret-de-mars-nightlife\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"dancing shoes for at night (opens in a new tab)\">dancing shoes for at night<\/a><\/strong>. Beach bums should plan accordingly as well, bring your bathing suit! Or don\u2019t, if you plan on joining the fun at a naturist beach (yes, they have those!). One key thing to note, however, is that items like surfboards and rock climbing gear don\u2019t really travel well, so just plan on renting those!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Items You\u2019d Never Leave Home Without<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019d usually bring it on a vacation anywhere else, then bring it here! Sanitary items, <strong>your favorite accessories<\/strong>, personal odds and ends you\u2019d never leave home without should definitely be in your bag(s). Some important things to add, if you wouldn\u2019t include them already, are <strong>sunglasses and sunblock<\/strong>, and maybe a hat. Those 300 days of sun are no joke! If you have the commodities at home, they most likely have them at the villa, too. That\u2019s why this list really focuses on personal items and easy-to-bring things you\u2019ll want to have handy for those just in case moments.
