Platja Gran, Tossa de Mar (Costa Brava)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The main beac<\/strong><\/a>h<\/a><\/strong> of Tossa de Mar<\/strong><\/a> (Platja Gran) is located on the promenade, just a few steps away from the old, medieval centre. It has long been a popular beach with young and old alike. What makes this place so special isn\u2019t just the fine sandy beach, but the centuries-old city walls and battlements that run down to the seafront, making you feel as though you\u2019ve been transported back to the Middle Ages on your beach towel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And with good reason! This pearly white gravel beach is located in a protected nature reserve on the Costa del Sol<\/strong><\/a> and the waters of the Mediterranean are crystal clear here. Maspalomas beach in Gran Canaria<\/strong><\/a> is almost 4 miles long and 100 metres wide in some places. The dreamy bay of Cala Llombards is located in the south of Mallorca<\/strong><\/a>, not far from the popular resort of Cala d’Or.
