Villa Ricardo is a completely detached villa, located above street level, and has a living area of 220m2. The entrance on the ground floor is reached by a short flight of stairs, and here you will find the fully furnished living room with cosy fireplace. From the living room, large double doors lead to the balcony where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner, with panoramic views in the background. This floor also houses the fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. On the first floor there is 1 more bedroom and 1 bathroom. The practical interior of this well-maintained villa features warm colours and a cosy, typical Spanish atmosphere and is furnished with attention to detail.

At the rear of the villa is the lovely private pool, which can be reached by a short flight of stairs. The beautifully shaped swimming pool and lovely swaying palm trees invite you to relax on one of the sun beds. Behind the pool is a beautifully landscaped panoramic terrace where you can dine al fresco, and you'll be really amazed at the beautiful views this villa has to offer. The villa also has a beautiful garden and balconies where you can relax and enjoy your holiday in the Spanish sun!

The surroundings of your villa

Villa Ricardo is located on the beautiful Costa del Maresme, which is found north of the province of Barcelona and south of the Costa Brava, on the Mediterranean. The Costa Brava runs from Blanes to the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. The coastal strip is about 50 kilometres long and is mostly made up of sandy beaches, steep cliffs and a wonderfully temperate climate.

The Maresme Coast has some beautiful historic cultural sites including the archaeological finds in Burriac and Mataró, the Baroque architecture in Arenys de Mar and Modernism in Canet and Argentona. The Costa del Maresme is often called the vegetable garden of Spain because in this area a lot of strawberries, cherries, tomatoes and beans are grown. The region is also known for its white Alella wine.

The modern cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, which is rich in culture and history, is definitely worth a visit. Meander around the world-famous promenade " Las Ramblas " while enjoying the ever present street theatre and the many mime artists, the inviting terraces and charming stalls. To get a good impression of this unique city with its culture and history, you can use a special hop on - hop off bus to see many sights. The medieval streets, FC Barcelona's famous Camp Nou football stadium, the Sagrada Familia or Gaudi's beautiful Park Guell are all worth a visit! There is so much beauty to see that you will run out of time during your visit to this metropolis! A visit to Barcelona is of course not complete without sampling some delicious typically Spanish Tapas; they are available almost everywhere and well worth tasting.
