The Spanish coastal area, the rich and beautiful nature and culture, were then a very much appreciated change of scenery to our stressful jobs and the chaos of everyday life in the Netherlands. Holidays in Spain became a more and more occurring phenomenon and the first own holiday villa was bought in Lloret de Mar. This villa was meant for own private use, but was also rented out to other holiday makers. After that, Spanish friends decided to follow this example and started renting out their house, which then was followed by friends of friends... Club Villamar was born.
