Down in the sunny south of the Spanish Costa Brava is the lively and popular coastal town of Lloret de Mar. Villa Ludovic is down a quiet street about 1.2km away from the beach with its fine sand. For the tourist with the required dose of courage there is a unique activity along the coast; parasailing! You are suspended from a special parachute and pulled along the Spanish Costa behind a motorboat. From the air you have a breath-taking view of the beautiful coastline. From the boat, your family and/or friends can take pictures and enjoy the ride. It comes highly recommended! Lloret de Mar and its surroundings offer much in the way of cultural sightseeing which are worth visiting during your holiday. From the beach of Lloret de Mar you stroll along the coast path to Dona Marinera, the fisherwoman of Lloret de Mar. When you continue to follow the coastal path via the beautiful Cala Banys, where you can enjoy delicious cocktails at the gorgeous beach bar, you take a look at Castell de San Joan. The castle was built at the start of the 11th century, but unfortunately nearly entirely levelled with the ground in the 14th century. In the 15th and 16th century the castle was reconstructed on the ruin which can be seen today, and allows you to imagine how it used to be. But nature has more to offer than just the seaside view. On a sunny, cheerful day one of the botanical gardens invites you for a relaxing walk. Get on the Garden Tour bus from the bus stop and let yourself be driven to all the various stops, including the botanical gardens. But there's more!
