De woning staat omschreven als luxueus. Het tegengestelde is waar. Terwijl de woning zelf zeer proper was, lag de inboedel van de keukenkasten chaotisch slordig en gedeeltelijk niet erg netjes. De kwaliteit van het keukengerei was ondermaats (gelukkig had ik de belangrijke dingen zelf mee). Zo was er ook geen sladroger, geen droogrek (slechts een vuile koord buiten tussen twee bomen) en geen stofzuiger. Een groot manko was de staat van de elektriciteit. Elke dag viel die verscheidene keren uit bij het koken. De ligzetels (allemaal) zijn dringend aan vervanging toe en het zitgemak van de stoeltjes aan tafel was meer dan onvoldoende. De tafel (buiten) is wankel. Aan de meeste vensters waren er horren (goed!), maar we vroegen ons af waarom er geen was aan de voordeur, die toch steeds openstaat...
