I know that you are one of those persons who already think about the summer holiday. Choosing the right destination is not very easy, but with a little help, you can live a memorable experience. Alicante, for example, is a wonderful idea for a holiday destination.

The sunny Spanish city occupies the eastern coast of the country; this means that it enjoys the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean and the long, stretched beaches covered with delicate, white sands.

The sun always shines in Alicante, so the weather is fantastic for a summer holiday, the atmosphere is a very relaxed one and the locals are very friendly; there is nothing to prevent you from choosing Alicante for one of your holidays.

The big advantage of the city is that it has a very long list of entertainment opportunities which make the word ‘’boredom’’ nonexistent. You will definitely have a lot of fun in the amazing Alicante, as the narrow and cobbled streets of the Old City are always ready to be explored.

The monuments and the buildings patiently wait to be discovered, the festivals are there almost every weekend to make sure that you have a great time, and the delicious food will nourish your senses. In addition to all these, the nightlife is active, so you will need a lot of energy in order to do all the things that one can do in Alicante.

The Casa de la Asegurada

Sightseeing is a very important activity in Alicante, as there are dozens of monuments that tell the story of the city and take you on trips into its past. You have to see them all, because they are extremely beautiful and they all display unique architectural styles.

One of the most important sightseeing spots is represented by the Casa de la Asegurada. This is the last and oldest example of civic buildings in Alicante and it was originally used, in 1685, as a granary. Since then, it also worked as a school and it now hosts the Contemporary Art Museum. You have to see it! I am sure that it will impress you!
