Partying In The Balearic Islands

The three famous Balearic Islands starting with Ibiza, continuing with Majorca and finishing with Menorca patiently wait for their visitors on the eastern side of the coast belonging to the Mediterranean Sea. Formentera is the fourth island composing the Balearic Islands, the paradise on earth as some say. The islands form an Autonomous Community which has Mallorca as capital and even though Catalan is their official language;

Going to Ibiza

Probably the most famous Balearic Island, Ibiza is popular for its agitated nightlife. Apart from the nightlife, Ibiza also has great beaches with delicate sands and the water of the Mediterranean Sea is of a crystal blue, making it great for a bath. The young tourists love Ibiza as its nightlife is legendary; however this is not the only attraction of the island. Ibiza has no less than 72 beaches as well as a wonderful selection of restaurants, bars and pubs and an interesting countryside which offers beautiful landscapes.

Visiting Majorca

Out of the four Balearic Islands, this is the largest and it has been a wonderful seaside destination starting with the 1960s. The city is full of sightseeing monuments which should definitely be on your list such as the Gothic Cathedral or the Bellver Castel. They managed to survive, even though the country developed really fast in an attempt to keep pace with the millions of tourists that visit it every year. Majorca is also a great place for gourmet ones, as the cuisine is absolutely fantastic.

The wonderful Menorca

Menorca is also known as the hidden paradise as the effect which comes along with mass tourism is not felt here. Menorca has managed to keep its rustic appearance alive, so you will be welcomed by some of the most beautiful landscapes you have ever seen. The beaches are idyllic and if you visit its capital Mahon, you have the chance to see the biggest natural harbor in this part of Europe. The pavement bars and pubs assure the nightlife entertainment that the young love so much.

Formentera

The smallest Balearic Island is also the one that has remained unspoilt. Formentera is the perfect place for those who just want to relax on a wonderful beach.
