Places of interest in Spain
Once you enter Spain, you get busy; busy visiting places of interest, relaxing on the beach, visiting historical places, climbing mountains, rejoicing in parks, learning more about the history and culture in the museums and entertaining with popular Spanish wine and traditional recipes. Once you visit Spain, you will certainly start loving the place and become a regular tourist to Spain.
It is going to be a very big list and you will certainly find it very difficult to finalize your tour program. It all depends on your preferences; if your priority is to visit monuments, then your preference should be Barcelona or Madrid or Andalucia. If you prefer to stay on the top of mountains, there are places suitable for such visitors. If you prefer to stay on beautiful beaches, there are plenty of places for such visit.
In short, Spain is a country which is suitable for all class of tourists.
Interestingly, most of the cities in Spain have some historical places and museums. The monuments are centuries old and the Government of Spain has taken extra precaution to preserve these monuments. They throw light on the civilization during which these monuments were built. Even the museums are so well organized that they give a glimpse of the history of the region or the province where they are located and many works of art and artifacts of earlier civilizations are available here.
If you visit places bordering France, you can cross over to France to visit the places of interest there. Alternatively you can go to Gibraltar or to Morocco. Of course you need to have your visa and other documents.
The list of places of interest for a tourist is quite big. Some of the places which are amongst the most preferred places are Barcelona, Madrid, Leon, Malaga, Salamanca, Zaragoza, etc. Apart from this, there are many islands. Balearic Islands rank top in the choice of preference by tourists.
Tourism is one of the major industries of Spain. Every effort is made to provide maximum comfort to the tourist. Every province, city and even villages have enough villas, hotels and even apartments which provide maximum comfort for the tourist at the most affordable rentals. There are enough restaurants which serve the most popular wine and also the local foods.
