Seville, Spain a Tourists’ Paradise

This is not an exaggeration; it is a plain truth. A tourist will have so much to see in Seville that he needs at least three to four days to go round some of the important places of interest. Each of the places he visits has a history behind it and most of the buildings the tourist visits are built centuries ago. Let us go round some of the interesting places:

The University of Seville:

This University building was actually a tobacco factory called the La Antigua Fábrica de Tabacos. The building is believed to have been built in the 18th century in typical Baroque style. The place around this building is very well laid and the beautiful landscape around the university building is a pleasure to the eyes. It is an ideal venue to study.

The park:

This Park called Parque de Maria Lusia in Spanish language is the brain child of the famous architect Anibal Gonzalez.The park was built for the Exposicion Ibero Americana. The park has a healthy blend of history of different countries. The park is beautifully decorated with glazed tiles. It is certainly a pleasure to see this park.

Museums:

Seville is the home for many popular museums. Some of the renowned museums in Seville are Museum of fine arts of Seville, Centre of Andalusian contemporary arts, Army museum, Flamenco museum, Bull fight museum, Carriage museum, Maritime Museum, etc. Normally no visitor misses these museums. These museums have a collection of some of the most precious works of art and artifacts.

Palace of the Countess of Lebrija:

This palace believed to have been built in the 16th century has undergone several renovations. This palace has now been converted into a museum. The palace has been built in classical Roman architecture. It is very well decorated and very well furnished. It is certainly a pleasure to watch this palace.

Parks:

There are a number of parks in Seville which are frequented by many tourists. For example, the Alcazar garden is located at the back of the palace and is certainly the best park of this town. The Alcazar garden is so beautiful, it rejuvenates the mind and makes the person relaxed.

Garden of Murillo and the garden of Cantalina de Ribera are the other parks in Seville. Theme park built in the year 1992 is another place of interest for the visitor. This theme park is becoming most popular amongst tourists.
