La Rioja in northern Spain is a land of vineyards and wine, art and culture and also, of course, nature. You will be surprised by the diversity of its landscapes. You will find Mediterranean forests and the Sierras Mountain which within a few kilometers, opens onto dry land almost lunar in appearance. Water will accompany you for most of your trips as this region gave birth to seven rivers.

Opportunities to explore natural areas of La Rioja are not lacking. Here are a few. From quiet walks on trails fully furnished down to adventure sports, activities for the youth, bicycle tours on Greenways … the possibilities are numerous but all start from the same idea: make the most of nature in La Rioja.
