The Ibiza’s Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulalia, Ibiza is where my family and I decided to take a summer vacation. As a matter of fact, it is said to be one of the most famous resorts on the Island of Ibiza. Plus they allow you to have a discounted package during the holidays. From the airport terminal of Stansted, London, we arrived at our destination in just a matter of hours.

Apart from Ibiza’s nightlife, which is world-renowned, the island has a different side. Santa Eulalia makes you feel that you’re in another world. The area was very relaxing and soothing and perfect for that summer getaway. There are a lot of amenities for the family to enjoy such as the pool and nearby cafes.

It has a friendly atmosphere where the adults can enjoy a night of singing and karaoke without losing sight of the children who are swimming and playing by the pool.

Though most of our time was spent by the pool, I have to say that Santa Eulalia has an awesome white sand beach where you can enjoy all your water sports. There are stores selling refreshments and comfortable, clean toilets in close proximity to the beach.

Traditional gourmet cooking was served at the restaurants. There they serve tapas and paellas, and you’ll never be disappointed with their first-class service. But if you prefer the non-adventurous type of dish, there are other restaurants who serve steaks, French fries and other enjoyable meals. It’s a stress-free experience even though you’re with your kids.

As I said earlier, we stayed very busy at Santa Eulalia, but I was told that there were a lot of activities that could be done in Ibiza as well. There is a tour that won’t cost you a large amount of money and that is the motorised train tour on the island. On a nice evening, we took a hike to the towers of Santa Eulalia.

A fun day at the water parks of Agualandia in Talamanca is also a must. However, you have to be ready with your sunblock as we were all sunburned after the trip. My husband also took a few swings at the golf complex that is near the island.

Unfortunately, ticket prices to Ibiza usually soar during the peak of summer, so try to book any tickets at least a couple of weeks, if not months, before your trip. To summarize, the Santa Eulalia experience was time well spent. We came home rejuvenated and relaxed.
