Where to go shopping in Tossa de Mar

Like the majority of Spanish towns and cities, there is a weekly market in Tossa de Mar. It is held every Thursday from 9am to 1pm at Rambla Pau Casals and in the surrounding streets.

The local market remains a strong tradition in Spain and you will find a wide range of products there. The fruit and vegetable stalls jostle with those of the fishmongers, butchers and florists, with clothes and souvenir sellers too.

It goes without saying that there also many food shops in the town of Tossa de Mar. You will find everything you need to prepare your meals!

Fancy a shopping trip? Let’s be honest – the number of shops in Tossa de Mar is fairly limited. While you will find some little clothing and souvenir shops, you might find it difficult to fill an entire afternoon of shopping in this small seaside resort.

A better bet for this is to go to Lloret de Mar, which is 20 minutes away by car, or join an excursion to Girona or spend the day shopping in Barcelona.
