Holiday Parks On Costa Del Sol

Spain is a great country to spend your holiday, a place where you can find something to do no matter what your taste. The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular locations and a fantastic place to spend your holiday with your family. Why is it such a great place for your children? Because the Costa del Sol has many beautiful parks which they will definitely enjoy, but this doesn’t mean that you won’t enjoy them also.
The wonderful parks of Costa del Sol

The Almunecar Park is really going to be one of your favorites, because it is a park where you will see many species of tropical birds. Your children can watch the parrots’ shows which are held every day during summertime, or the gracious swans, the macaws and the ostriches. Antequera will surprise you with the Wolf Park in Lobo; this is actually a study park, but it also has enclosures with four species of wolves from all over the world.

Benalmadena hosts the Eagles’ Garden; the park exhibits over 160 birds of prey and you can visit it in the afternoons. Children can also have fun playing in the miniature castle or visiting the reptile sanctuary if they are courageous. Benalmadena also hosts “Sea Life” which is a park dedicated to sea life and is entered through an underwater passage. You and your children will have the wonderful opportunity to see different species of sharks, eels and even rays whilst learning all sorts of fascinating facts about these amazing species.

Other interesting parks

The Selwo Animal Park, located in Estepona, offers you the possibility to see over 2,000 roaming animals, but you’ll have to see them on foot.  Fuengirola Zoo is also accessed on foot and is one of the most beautiful zoos in Spain. The Donkey Sanctuary in Nerja is a very funny experience for everyone, as the donkeys are really nice. You don’t have to pay in order to see the donkeys, which have been rescued from bad owners or donated by owners that are no longer able to care for them. Last but not least, go to the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos; children love seeing these huge reptiles and you will feel the adrenaline pumping in your veins. Have fun!
