The tourists are normally taken to certain caves where they can find stunningly beautiful works of paintings. These paintings are believed to be centuries old. Tourists say that it is most advantageous to take the help of a trained guide to visit these islands. Similarly, help of an experienced guide should also be availed while visiting the Caves. The UNESCO has declared Menorca as a National Biosphere reserve.
