Temps de Flors – A Can’t-Miss Spring Festival in Girona
Temps de Flors (A Time for Flowers) is Girona‘s Spring Festival that takes place in mid–June. This can’t-miss festival transforms the city into a big garden with special features being the palaces where present in the old city.
Girona is easily reachable from Barcelona by a quick train ride; it’s not more than in 90 minutes travel. You can also travel by bus or car from Barcelona. Train services are available after every hour from Barcelona train stations and they’ll drop you right in the center of Girona. Train ride is the best way to get inside the city as the service is quite frequent.
To attend the festival, you have to reach the tourism office at Girona. The tourism office of Girona is present in Placa del Vi, right in the center of the town. You’d be able to get the map that lists the flower exhibits that are going to be present at different places in the city.
