The female shaped bronze statue stands on a rock, from where the Dona Marinera is watching over the sea.
This sculpture is also known as the Venus of Lloret, with its artistic element of beauty and exceptional quality. This phenomenal statue has a legend. It says, your wish will come true when you touch the feet of the fisherman’s wife and at the same time you look at the horizon.

Every July, Ermita de Santa Cristina is the hub of attention of Lloret de Mar. During the festival the procession leads fishermen to this church.
