Spain is definitely a beautiful country; this is one of the reasons why it attracts so many visitors from all the corners of the world and it does it every year. The diversity of breathtaking landscapes, the richness of the cultural and the historical heritage and the variety of villages, towns and cities are some of the factors that make people fall in love with this amazing country.

Sightseeing in Cadiz
Cadiz is definitely heaven on earth for those who love sightseeing but hate walking too much as all the important monuments of the city are grouped in its centre. The Cadiz Cathedral should be one of your first stops and then drive your attention towards the spectacular Poniente Tower.
If you climb to its top, you have the chance to see some of the most spectacular views of the city. The sightseeing list continues with the Roman Theatre, one of the few reminiscences from the rule of the Romans over Cadiz; the discovery was made just a few decades ago, to be more exact in 1980, after a huge fire.
The Phoenician Site, the Roman Site and the Tavira Tower are three more places that you are not allowed to miss while in Cadiz. The medieval centre has a few more wonders that wait to be explored; one of these wonders is the beautiful House of the Admiral, a spectacular building dating back to the 17th century.
The San Antonio Square and the San Sebastian fortress are two more interest points for you in Cadiz, so try not to miss them.

For a lot of fun, you should know that from the port you can take a boat for a 40 minutes trip along the coast so that you can have the chance to enjoy the beauties of Cadiz. You should also know that Cadiz has a series of beaches that deserve your attention such as the Victoria Beach or the La Caleta Beach.
