Travelling Information for Sitges

Sitges is considered to be the trial of Mediterranean. Sitges is small village having fishing as the main occupation and is located about 20 km versus Southwest of Barcelona. Sitges is a picturesque town down that is situated along the Costa Brava.

Sitges has in fact been one of the most important fishing villages that was present on the east coast of Spain. Clearwater, long beaches, a newly populated with center and the deep history makes this place all the more welcoming.

Sitges has recently become an extraordinary tourist destination with its unique bay that is shielded astoundingly from the Mediterranean Sea. This feature has created a different kind of micro-climate making Sitges a significantly warmer area than that of Barcelona.

Whether you decide to travel straight to Sitges after you arrived at Barcelona’s airport or called at Barcelona for one day, you have no different traveling option. The train is undoubtedly the best option but you can also access to Sitges by taxi, rental car or bus.

Travelling Via train Directly From Airport

For traveling via train you just need the signs from their food and get to the train station with your baggage. You will need to follow a long walk away that is used for operation between two different stations. Alternatively, you can choose the under part which will take you to the station directly. We just need to get on any train that stops here and get down the train on the very next stop.

This station is which is El Pratt de Llobregat station. You’ll need to take another train named Vilanova G from here which will take you to Sitges. The journey is not going to take more than 20 minutes.

Train from Barcelona

you can take a direct train to Sitges from Passeig de Gracia or Sants Station. You can catch the exact timetable and the details of train departures from RENFE website. All information of travel is available in English at this website.

From Airport By Bus

you can catch a direct bus from the airport. You can also take the ‘Mon Bus’ that is available from terminal A. and B. You will directly reach it just without changing any bus and the travel time and not be more than 45 minutes.

From Barcelona Center by Bus

be sure that you get the right bus from Barcelona Center and effort to get N30 which will be available from Gran Via or the Ronda Universitat.

By Taxi:

This will be the most expensive option and will cost you around $90. You can easily catch a taxi after you clean your baggage and let the driver nobody destination.
